Handover of Position of Student Association of Javanese Literature Student Family Study Program (HMJ KAMASTAWA) Period 2023/2024

Yogyakarta, February, 17 2023 – The Javanese Language, Literature, and Culture Study Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully held the handover of positions (sertijab) for the Javanese Literature Student Family Department Student Association (HMJ KAMASTAWA) for the 2023/2024 period. The event took place solemnly in Room 404 of the Margono Building, 4th floor.

At 15.30 WIB, the certificate program began with the opening by Master of Ceremony (MC) followed by singing Indonesia Raya and the Gadjah Mada Hymn. Dr. Daru Winarti, M.Hum., as Head of the Language, Literature, and Java Studies Program gave a speech on the occasion.

After the opening remarks from Dr. Daru Winarti, M.Hum., the event continued with the reading of the minutes and the implementation of the oath of office by Imam Prakoso, S.S., M.A., who is also the supervisor of HMJ KAMASTAWA. The oath of office was read by Imam Prakoso, S.S., M.A., and was attended by all new management of HMJ Kamastawa for the 2023/2024 period.

After the process of reading the oath of office was completed, the inauguration text was signed by Dr. Daru Winarti, M.Hum., as Chair of the Javanese Language, Literature and Culture Study Program, as well as by Adjit Royan Mustafa Ganda Sukma, who currently serves as Chair of HMJ KAMASTAWA for the 2023/2024 period.

The next event was the symbolic pinning of position marks by Dr. Daru Winarti, M.Hum. The position badge was removed from Yulian Pamungkas, Chairman of HMJ KAMASTAWA 2022/2023, and pinned on Adjit Royan Mustafa Ganda Sukma, Chair of HMJ KAMASTAWA for the 2023/2024 period.

As a moment of farewell and welcome, Yulian Pamungkas was represented by the management of HMJ KAMASTAWA 2022/2023 to give remarks. Then, Adjit Royan Mustafa Ganda Sukma, representing the management of HMJ KAMASTAWA 2023/2024, gave a speech. The event ended with a prayer led by Bima Muslih Wicaksono before being closed by the MC.

With the holding of the HMJ KAMASTAWA certificate for the 2023 period, it is hoped that the administrators can continue, improve, and renew the struggles of the HMJ KAMASTAWA administrators for the 2022/2023 period and previous periods. Through a carefully prepared work program, it is hoped that HMJ KAMASTAWA can contribute positively and maintain a good reputation for the Javanese Language, Literature, and Culture Study Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
