Yogyakarta - On Thursday (08/10/2023), the socialization of the Study Plan (KRS) for the A.Y. 2023 new students was successfully conducted. The event took place in room 404 of the Margono Building, commencing from 08:00 to 10:00 AM. This KRS socialization was organized by the Academic Division of the Family of Javanese Literature Student Department (HMJ KAMASTAWA).

The speakers for the KRS socialization session were Fazi Arifian Pradana (class of 2021) and Nanda Nursa Alya (class of 2021). They discussed various aspects related to KRS, including academic ethics, the terminology used in coursework, a comprehensive understanding of KRS along with its aspects, the types of courses available, and a brief overview of the curriculum revision in 2021. Additionally, they presented details about the courses to be taken and provided practical guidance on the usage of UGM's Simaster platform for the KRS filling process.

Following the presentation of the material, the Academic Division opened a question-and-answer session. Several new students posed questions related to KRS and their coursework experiences, reflecting their curiosity and interest as they encountered the KRS system and academic environment for the first time.

The aspiration is that through this activity, the new students can gain a clearer understanding of the KRS filling process they will undertake from Friday (08/11/2023) to Saturday (08/12/2023), and obtain initial insights into the coursework they will face on their academic journey.
