Learning Outcomes

Each graduate of the Javanese Language, Literature, and Culture Program possesses the following learning outcomes:

Attitudes:

  1. Demonstrates reverence to the One Almighty God and is capable of exhibiting a religious demeanor.
  2. Upholds the values of humanity in performing duties based on religion, morality, and ethics.
  3. Contributes to the enhancement of community, nation, and civilization in accordance with Pancasila.
  4. Acts as a proud and patriotic citizen, displaying nationalism and a sense of responsibility towards the country and nation.
  5. Appreciates the cultural diversity, perspectives, religions, and beliefs, as well as the original opinions or findings of others.
  6. Collaborates and possesses social sensitivity and concern for society and the environment.
  7. Adheres to the law and discipline in both community and national life.
  8. Internalizes values, norms, and academic ethics.
  9. Regards politeness and courtesy in everyday life.

Knowledge:

  1. Masters and applies fundamental theories and research methods to produce scholarly works in the fields of Javanese linguistics, Javanese literature, Javanese philology, and Javanese culture.
  2. Masters the concepts, theories, and methods of translating between Javanese and Indonesian languages and can formulate solutions to translation problems in producing translation works.
  3. Masters the rules of regional scriptss, with a focus on Javanese scripts, their usage, innovative development, and the ability to implement them in written form, both manually and digitally.
  4. Masters the basics of journalism and can apply linguistic, literary, and philological theories to become practitioners in Javanese language and literature.
  5. Masters the fundamentals of creative writing in Javanese language and literature.

General Skills:

  1. Applies logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking within the context of developing or implementing science and technology, considering and applying humanistic values relevant to their field of expertise.
  2. Demonstrates independent, high-quality, and measurable performance.
  3. Examines the implications of developing or implementing science and technology while considering and applying humanistic values relevant to their expertise. This is based on scientific norms, procedures, and ethical principles to generate solutions, ideas, designs, or artistic critiques.
  4. Prepares scientific descriptions of the aforementioned studies in the form of theses or final project reports and uploads them to the university's website.
  5. Makes precise decisions within the context of problem-solving in their field of expertise, based on the analysis of information and data.
  6. Maintains and develops a network of collaboration with mentors, colleagues, and peers both within and outside their institution.
  7. Assumes responsibility for achieving group work outcomes, supervises and evaluates task completion assigned to subordinates.
  8. Engages in self-evaluation of workgroups under their responsibility and can independently manage learning.

  3. Can provide explanations, apply, and offer mentoring regarding the proper use of the Javanese language.
  4. Can gather literary and performance data in digital form and can collect language data for creating thematic dictionaries.
  5. Can creatively pioneer independent, innovative ventures based on local wisdom.
