The Javanese Language, Literature, and Culture Study Program and the Master of Arts Program in Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University, will hold an exhibition titled "Pusaka Kata" on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The event will take place on the first floor of the Soegondo Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time.
The "Pusaka Kata" exhibition is a form of academic collaboration featuring various Nusantara manuscripts as its main object. This event aims to introduce and appreciate the richness of Nusantara's writing traditions to academics and the general public.
Through this exhibition, visitors can directly see a variety of Nusantara manuscripts that hold historical, philological, and cultural value. Furthermore, this event is also expected to serve as an educational tool regarding the importance of preserving ancient manuscripts as part of cultural heritage.
The organizing committee invites students, lecturers, and the wider community to attend the exhibition. By holding "Pusaka Kata", it is hoped that awareness of the importance of Javanese manuscripts as a source of knowledge and cultural identity will increase.
